What are the main differences between publishing in high-scoring scientific journals and low-scoring or no points?
The scientist tries to publish in high-ranked places but he is not always able to publish in other journals, which are low-scoring or without points. It depends on the field in which it operates scientifically, how many scientific journals are scored in a given field and what are the requirements and limitations.

As in French le/la, in German der/die/das & other languages, thera are genders for words & so articles in some languages. Grammaticaly gender for words are complete redundancy !? Governments have to cancel them offically as soon as possible so that people can learn those languages easily also. One of the reason English almost became universal language is due to being genderless for words !
"It's an inheritance from our distant past. Researchers believe that Proto-Indo-European had two genders: animate and inanimate. It can also, in some cases, make it easier to use pronouns clearly when you're talking about multiple objects."
As Mark Twain once wrote in reference to German:
A person’s mouth, neck, bosom, elbows, fingers, nails, feet, and body are of the male sex, and his head is male or neuter according to the word selected to signify it, and not according to the sex of the individual who wears it! A person’s nose, lips, shoulders, breast, hands, and toes are of the female sex; and his hair, ears, eyes, chin, legs, knees, heart, and conscience haven’t any sex at all…

Each language has its own rules and structure. Governments have nothing to do with this. It is language specific. You can not change it in a fortnight.

Dear RG community
I am writing the final paper of my Ph.D. thesis.
My final contributions are related to each other; I wanted to express both of these contributions in one article. Still, the number of pages increased significantly, so I want to publish the article in two parts. The first part and the second part, do you think this is possible?
I wanted to know what the protocol for a two parts article is.

What is the difference between a journal being "registered with x abstracting partners" vs a journal being "indexed in a journal? What does each of these terms mean?
I recently published an article in a pubmed indexed journal, however, it does not appear on the pubmed search. Why is that? What should I do about it?
Relevant answer
Answer
A journal being "registered with x abstracting partners" typically means that the journal's content is available to be included in the databases of various abstracting and indexing (A&I) services. These services collect, abstract (provide a summary), and index the articles published in a journal, making it easier for researchers to discover and access the journal's content. Examples of abstracting partners include Scopus, Web of Science, and PubMed Central.
A journal being "indexed in a journal" generally refers to the journal being included in a specific indexing service, such as PubMed or Scopus. Indexing means the journal articles are included in the database, and the articles can be searched by specific search criteria.
Regarding your second question, if an article has been published in a PubMed indexed journal, but it does not appear on PubMed search, that could be because the PubMed system has not yet indexed the article. It can take some time for articles to be indexed in PubMed and appear in the search results. Typically articles published in PubMed indexed journals will take a month to appear in the PubMed search. If your article still not indexed even after a month or so, you should contact the publisher or PubMed helpdesk for assistance

She argues that 'when many successful scientists boast dozens, even hundreds, of research papers to their name, calls for more “quality over quantity” in publication can appear to ring rather hollow.
Thus, to ensure quality in the paper publications churned out from dozens of academic journals, she gave the above suggestion. What do you think about her suggestion? Would it improve the rigor of science or slow down the pace of scientific development?
Kindly share your interesting views on this issue. Thanks

It depends on whether a researcher is an open-minded or otherwise. Restricting an open-minded researcher to publish a single study per annum will limit scientific propagation and technological advancement. In fact, it will take us back to pre-information explosion period where only a tiny fraction of scholars was allowed to contribute to the growth of knowledge. By any physical laws, this is impossible. It seems to restrict human thinking thereby limiting human intelligence and accelerating or retarding machine intelligence. This idea will be detrimental especially if looked at from the high scaled up of global problems like health emergency, global warming, etc. There's a paradigm shift from publishing to perish to share or perish nowadays, which implies the negative consequences will be greater than the benefits to derive from. The only thing to think in this regard is the review process: it has to measure many variables such as quality, validity, reliability, replicability, etc in quantity. Narrowing down the growth of knowledge to just one paper per year will have many consequences on psychology, sociology, economy, geography, environment, health, technology, etc. of the global population. It will limit critical thinking, reading, reflection, among others, which is detriment to the growth and development of scholarship unless proven otherwise in the future. Thinking in this way is epistemophobia

What happens if we upload the preprint of our work shortly after submitting the manuscript to the journal?  Does our manuscript get plagiarised owing to matching contents with our own preprint? Or the Editor will consider it? I am extremely curious to know what occurs next if such happens. If so, the correct time to post a preprint is soon after the acceptance of the manuscript, right?

One of my friends was accused of plagiarism; do you know why?
After about three months, his research paper was rejected because of plagiarism. When he checked the journal report, he found that his paper was accused of plagiarism with a 61% percentage. The reason is that his manuscript was previously uploaded as a preprint. It took him another two months to solve the problem and remove the manuscript from the database of the preprint.
So, in order to solve this type of issue, it may take several months of following up to remove the manuscript from the database of the preprint. Anyhow, If there were accusations of plagiarism, it is not well for any researcher's reputation, in any meaning.

What libraries are suitable for pre-printing the article?
Relevant answer
Dear honorable researchers,
Preprints are defined as an author’s version of a research manuscript prior to formal peer review at a journal, which is deposited on a public server. ResearchGate (RG) said about "Preprints" an early-stage research.
Before answering this valuable question of Prof. Yashar Salami, please let me give my own opinion about preprint:
  • Why you let others know about your insights and methodologies before publication? You should avoid telling the other researchers about the details of anyone of your papers until it has been published and seeing your name by yourself. You may say that I am somewhat old-fashioned, but I have a different perspective for uploading any preprint anywhere before it has been published by your name. So, my advice is not to put your research anywhere until it is published.
  • Your manuscript may be copied and then published by others before you can do that. This stealing of your paper might be happening. So, you must wait until the paper is accepted and then published by that journal. Then, upload that research item on any platform you wish.
  • A journal may have automated plagiarism software to check the paper before admitting it to the reviewing process. There are chances that your paper can get a rejection at any point. Thus, to avoid this problem. Publish the preprint after you got the paper as "ACCEPTED".
Finally, for the coming future, do not upload any paper anywhere until it is published with your name. Even if it is a "preprint"! For the time being, If you had done something like that as a "preprint", for instance, I advise you to delete the preprint from any elsewhere and wait for two months before sending the paper to any journal.

Furthermore (see print screen) your name is not properly indicated. Not sure when you uploaded your paper here on RG (use academia.edu as well to speed up the process) but sooner or later GS will pick your paper up.

Guys,
Sometimes I see comments which are added in the end of a paper(e.g. I've seen comments and their replies from the author in the end of the paper in Elsevier's journals). The question is that how can we make such a comments to get answer from the author(s) formally?
I have several questions on a paper that should ask them to the authors. I've tried to have a conversation with the authors via E-Mail but nobody answered me then decided to ask my questions formally from the journal. May I use LTE (Letter to the editor) to do this? have you ever done such a thing so far?
Relevant answer
Answer
With regard to the original question asked by Rooholamin Dargahi , my experience is that some journal want you to write letters like another article and these appear in a section of the printed version of the journal (in the future). Some journals have a part of their website where they accept comments - and sometimes these are linked to the article itself - where you as a reader can write something about the published paper but your response is not published in the journal itself. Sometimes they (the journal) will say they select the "best" comments to be formally published. Some (people) say to me it is worth the risk (to try), some say it is not.

Does it really matter?

Answer
I thank Abubakar Abdussalam for his comment. Luckily, I do not have a university degree dependent on publication(s) but I totally understand that's the case for some of my friends. I, too, have had the problem that papers wait for long to be reviewed (let alone published). When these things happen, I remind myself to find journals who on their website say their "first decision interval" is 4.7 weeks or something like that. I suggest in future you might look for that as well.
And I promise to myself - again - that I would never take so long to review a paper. That is something that I constantly remind myself to do as an individual. The longest I have ever done was 15 days (the original recommendation was 14-21 days) and I felt bad about that already!!

Theoretically, there should be as few restrictions as possible in such matters in the world of science. Science should develop in an unhampered way. Whether less restrictions and regulations can be developed to a greater extent by innovative solutions.
On the other hand, the more authors who have written a specific publication together, the more difficult it is to objectively evaluate the contribution of individual co-authors to the creation of a specific publication. There are several pages of scientific articles that have been written by over 100 authors. Usually, these are also members of research teams for large-scale research projects.
In addition, in the last dozen or so years, research has shown that the quantitative proportion of single-author scientific texts is falling relative to the total of scientific publications being produced. Therefore, more scientific multi-authorial publications have been created in recent years in comparison to single-author ones. What are the reasons?
In the light of the above, the following questions arise:
Why do more and more scientists prefer to publish in multi-author scientific texts than single-author ones? Is the main determinant of the increase of established research teams, whose members conduct similar or the same research projects and jointly publish research results?
In addition, new questions arise in connection with the development of new information technologies:
What is the importance of using the internet to popularize scientific knowledge? Does online information globalization have its share in this matter? Can publication in multi-author texts increase the scope in terms of popularizing specific scientific knowledge, developed new research concepts, results of research carried out, etc. using new online media, including online science portals? Is this the probability of developing scientific cooperation on a national, but also international and global scale? Are there any opportunities for the citation of scientific publications?
Do you agree with me on the above matter?
In the context of the above issues, I am asking you the following question:
Why do more and more scientists prefer to publish in multi-author scientific texts than single-author ones?
Please reply
I invite you to the discussion

In experimental studies of any processes, it is impossible to qualitatively and quickly create an installation, conduct experiments, process them, and generalize the results obtained. Therefore, it is beneficial to work as a team. And you can also write articles together, delimiting responsibility for the paragraphs of the article. This approach speeds up the process and the discussion.

About two years ago, I have submitted a manuscript to a reputed journal. After a couple of months of the peer review process, the response was “major revision has been requested”. I made the necessary adjustments and resubmitted it again. The Journal's editor responded that my manuscript requires minor revision. Well, the decision was <<"Revise for Editor Only'' he claimed that revision should be quick and it will not undergo the entire review process>>. Again, I made the required edits in order to make the manuscript acceptable for publication. Afterward, I resubmitted it. It is the day 120 and the status is "With Editor". In fact, I did send two emails to the editorial team to update the status. Their response to both emails was the same, saying that they contacted the editor to accelerate the process.

I would like to ask you to share your experience for publishing in MDPI special issues:
1- It seems they are getting benefit from Invited Guest Editors to write and present a short proposal about a specific topic. This is purely an honorary position and after this step, the staff of MDPI (who are not from the academy) will proceed with everything. They receive manuscripts from authors and send the manuscript for revision. In many cases, if the article is accepted with a major revision, only 5 days will be given by the assistant editor to revise the manuscript!!!
2- High publishing cost (almost 2000 CHF) is another negative point.
3- It seems 100 CHF gift for reviewers is attractive enough for many people who voluntarily work as a reviewer without having enough experience in that topic. The reviewers only ask for modifying graphs and tables and suggesting their article as a reference!!!
4- I personally prefer to submit to a journal with a professional academic editor who is really familiar with the topic and after acceptance to pay for open access.
5- The impact factor of special issues is high, but i think this is neither related to the quality of the articles nor the journal. This is mainly due to the open acces of journals that articles can receive more citations!
6- The positive point from my side is that they are quite fast and within one month you will receive the result, either accepted or rejected!
They know how to play the game and get advantages from the name and position of guest editors by offering discounts!
My main point is if you have high-quality work submit it to a high-quality journal and if you are interested to make your work more visible, just pay for open access.

Whilst the mainstream here is appealing against publishing in MDPI. I would like to raise another reason for people to publishing there, which is "TIME".
Traditional journals nowadays take really long time to review, while MDPI can guarantee the speed. Many reviewers of traditional journals agree to review but do not deliver ON TIME. Using myself as an example, I know that the journals I chose give 30 days for reviewers but my experience shows that it is quite usual for reviewers to just put the manuscript aside and return after 3-4 months. This is just one round - usually the overall process results in that a paper being delayed in publishing for around one year.
One year delay can be very bad regarding research outputs, as a large project is normally 2-3 years, PhD in the UK is 3-4 years - we really want our research to be seen before we submit the final report...Thinking about the potential delay, it would be sometimes risky to submit a manuscript to traditional journals, thus people logically choose MDPI which normally can publish in one month.
Therefore, alongside this forum, I would say we could also create a thread to suggest the reviewers, who kindly agreed to contribute, can also be as ON TIME as possible...
Note - I am not a fan or opponent of MDPI - just saying my opinion.

All classifications are up to people.
Everybody will tell you that the history of humanity started around 5,150 years ago. Of course, not the same wording would be used. The phrase would be like this. The history of mankind is recorded history. In other words, our history began only when humanity invented writing.
The reason is simple and very convincing. The magic word is convenience. It is much easier to work with historical facts and artifacts if you have written records about them. It is hard to work with only archeological or similar data. The history with existed written records is a comfort zone for everybody. Any choice of the beginning of the history of humankind as a date before first writing will throw researchers and the public out of this comfort zone.
When did the Agricultural Revolution happen? Well, it began many thousands of years before writing was invented. If the history of mankind began in 3150 BC, then that revolution is thrown from the history of humanity into prehistory.
I consider humankind's history, as the one, which started in 42000 BC. Why exactly at this date?

As the title says, I need help with finding articles/books that are available. I am having trouble finding articles on this matter.
Relevant answer
Answer
Let me first say this is an guide to answers and not a thesis.
However, there is minimal Zoroastrian influence on Judaism. There is more influence from African/Egyptian Theology on the revealed religions of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. I base this on Abram coming to Jerusalem and finding the the priest of the Most High God already well established in Jerusalem. Mohammed came from Midian where prior to the conquest of Persia was long ruled by Egypt (see Moses's wife and father in law religion). African/Egyptian Theology is not polytheistic as many believe. It is Henotheism believing there is one god manifested/revealed to man in other beings/gods but in all is only one god. “I became the becoming of those who became after my becoming, for numerous are the desires coming out of my mouth (spoken word to create), …After being only one God, it is three that I became for myself and for Shu (air/spirit), certainly, and Tefnut (water) came out of the Nun (dark empty void) where they were: they brought my eye after them.” This is individuality or one to give plurality in more than one (specifically 3 in trinity). Elohim is God in plurality and individuality. This is very evident in Genesis 1:1-3. So there goes that Zoroastrian influence theory.
Also, the Medes (Zoroastrian religion) were not influential on Judaism until the conquering of Judah, According to the Holy Bible, God prophesied of Cyrus The Great. It would be the other way around if Zoroastrian prophesied of Cyrus. If so, they would not have not lost power the the Persians knowing that Cyrus was coming.
There may be some influence on Christianity, and some on Islam. This was necessitated by the influence of Hellenism by the Greeks and then the Romans who ruled over nations. As a religious rebellion to Hellenistic gods, Zoroastrian, Christianity, and Islam had a common religious enemy.
Finally, just because religions have social and moral goodwill to mankind does not mean one influenced the other. Goodwill (Agape/charitable love) to mankind comes for the spirit of God that was given to all men and women before any of man's religions were created or established. Religion is man's outward appearance to man that he has a relationship with God. Faith is man's inward appearance to God that he has a relationship with God. God moves man to faith in God. Man moves Man to religion with man.

Many new research concepts are published in the low or no impact factor journals because of insufficient research results. Other researchers are extending this work and publishing the results in high impact factor journal. But, unfortunately they are not citing the research work published in low impact factor journals, though it is base of extended research idea. Additionally, if they cite the base research paper, reviewers/ editors or journal are not allowing to cite base research paper. Please share your opinion.
Relevant answer
Answer
We can not decide the quality of the journal based on impact factor only. Now many open access journals publishing more papers and getting high impact factor with citations. Running towards numbers is not a encouraging one and novel work which is published in any journal will have have citations and credits.

Sometimes peer reviewers write incorrect comments about your paper, or they disagree with you on some issue, but you know that they are wrong. If you are lucky enough to be given a chance to revise your paper, when you explain that they are wrong, they get defensive and write even worse reviews and change their recommendation to reject. What is the best way to handle this issue? Withdrawing the paper and submitting it to somewhere else? If we have to change our papers according to referee comments, just to have a chance to publish it, then it will be bad for academic discourse. I have seen this too many times that I recognize it as a problem in academic publishing. Unfortunately, people who are not very knowledgeable about an issue volunteer to review papers on that issue and yet, their review reports are given more weight than your rebuttals, when it comes to the decision on your paper. I have never seen a case in which the editor sided with the authors, when there is disagreement between the authors and reviewers. Peer reviewers always have to be satisfied, that is the unestablished rule. This kills plurality of ideas, causes to propagate wrong information, inflates irrelevant citations, inflates the size of papers, reduces the quality of published articles, etc.
Relevant answer
Regarding responding to the harsh or negative peer reviewer comments, you should deal with them as you would deal with any other comment. Give a point-by-point response to the comments, mentioning whether you agree or disagree with them. If you disagree with some of the comments, provide your reasons for doing so.

Both strategies: High Impact Factor or established journal - have different functions, other positive aspects and other limitations are not fully comparable.
Which strategies are considered to be more appropriate depends on the privities who the researcher writing the scientific papers deems more important. In the context of this issue an important question arises: Do you publish in scientific journals with a high Impact Factor but representing related or other fields of knowledge against the scientific specialty of the researcher who sends his scientific texts for publication?
Do you, however, publish in journals with a lower Impact Factor, which represent the field of knowledge in which the researcher specializes and writes his scientific texts? Which strategy is chosen by individual researchers, scientists and research and teaching staff of the university depends on whether the prime points are collected IF for the institution, which the researcher affirms, or more important is the citation of written texts in a given field, but more important is the issue of publishing in magazines whose titles are closely correlated with the problems of scientific texts written by the researcher.
Do you agree with me on the above matter?
In the context of the above issues, the following question is valid:
What are the key priorities for you when choosing a scientific journal for publishing scientific texts?

At first, I check if it has a good indexing, and in my case, if it has a good index in the MIAR page. If I see that it has certain guarantees of quality, then I read the guidelines and instructions. What I don't like is that journals show as a great merit the high percentage of rejections. It is one thing to guarantee quality, it is another thing to reject as a way of understanding quality.

My articles were being added in my profile automatically, until a few months ago, I am getting no updates regarding my articles published. I tried to add them but I can't add any articles for which I'm an author. Even though, I can easily find them in Google Scholar (through a normal article search). I've tried searching for my name, the exact article name, the DOI, etc. I can see the article in my co-authors’ profile, however, I can’t search them in my profile. When I do a search, it returns the same message always “Your search – [search keyword] - did not match any articles.”

Dear Stephen Leon Joseph Leon "nowadays some researchers are forming group and started adding their names among themselves (Just for paper count without contributing anything in that paper)": Fortunately this never happened in our research group. For each of our 400+ research paper I can tell you exactly what the contribution of every co-author was. In our discipline, synthetic chemistry, we heavily rely on team work. Thus every co-author is responsible for a clearly defined task (synthesis, analysis, spectroscopy, crystal structure etc.). We never added any author name without a significant contribution to the published work.

Usually, the author of the review article is known in a certain area, with good publications history, in order to cover the topic. I think the review article should provide a new hypothesis or should concentrate and summarize a certain point that is needed to be reviewed. Thus, any one can write a review or should be invited by the editorial board.
Relevant answer
Answer
Journals (Ex: Progress in Materials Science) which solely publish review articles usually invite an expert in a field to write a review article. Some journals (Ex: International Materials Reviews) ask the authors to submit a proposal which is subjected to a evaluation by the editorial board to further proceed to invite or decline. Some journals (Ex: Reviews on Advanced Materials Science) accept review articles from any author who may be working in a different research topic also. Regular journals do invite expert authors occasionally or accept proposal for review papers. The general emphasize is that the author should have contributed significant literature in a particular field to qualify for writing review article. Presently, open access journals receive huge submissions of review articles. They are not bothered on the background of the authors. The quality is indeed degrading.

Is it important to publish research articles in Scopus indexed journals? Why?

Relevant answer
Answer
Researchers need curated, high-quality content. Poor-quality and predatory journals are a threat to the integrity of science. While poor-quality journals may be easy to identify from a publication performance perspective, they may not be a threat to the integrity of science and possibly serve niche areas or specific research communities. Although usage of the term predatory publishing is widespread, it remains ill-defined and subject to personal interpretation and judgement. Specifically: • Labeling a journal predatory may be controversial if there is no evidence. Publishers that have, in someone’s subjective opinion, some predatory publications may also publish high-quality journals. • It is not always straightforward to identify predatory journals. Journals change their editorial policies over time; a journal that did not start off as predatory may become so over the years or vice versa. • The term predatory evokes a negative response in some, while others find it fitting seeing these publications and indeed their publisher as practicing unethically.

Writing Style, technical soundness, number of words etc.

A magazine is definitely not the same as a Journal. Magazines normally carry popular articles, not original work. A Scientific Journal publishes original scientific work not published elsewhere. 'Letters' or 'Notes' are of shorter length. It may include a comment on an already published recent paper by the author or someone else. Normally, Editor takes decisions on 'Letters' and 'Notes'. Seldom are they are sent to reviewers. They get published quickly. A full length paper in a reputed Journal has to undergo peer review process and may take up to an year or so to get published.

Before, in my country and several countries was considered the first author more important than the corresponding author. Recently the situation has changed.
I believe that first author is usually carried out most of the practical part of the research and must be the correspondence author too. Co-authors do part of the work.
What is the difference between first and corresponding author? Can PhD students be a corresponding author?
Dear all respected researchers; kindly let me know your opinion.
Relevant answer
Answer
Amir - the first author is usually the corresponding author. If a PhD student is submitting their own work then, as with all my PhD students, they are the 'lead' and first author in the article - and that should make them the corresponding author by default. I'm aware that it might be a different arrangement in different parts of the world but, at the end of the day, that is (to me) the fairest and most ethical arrangement. No matter how much support a PhD student receives from the supervision team - it is still their project and their data.

First, hello! I am a medical writer with 15 years' experience and was first published in 2009 in Clinical Pediatrics. My most recent publication is in press. As a member of the American Medical Writers Association (Pres-Elect of the SE Chapter), I am very versed in practices of journals, publication ethics, and other relevant recommendations and guidelines regarding authorship. I have a small business, US Medical Research Services (www.usmedresearch.com).
Criteria for Authorship (4)
First, let me review what four criteria one need meet ALL of to be an author on a scientific publication to meet ethical guidelines.
The ICMJE recommends that authorship be based on the following 4 criteria:
  • Substantial contributions to the conception or design of the work; or the acquisition, analysis, or interpretation of data for the work; AND
  • Drafting the work or revising it critically for important intellectual content; AND
  • Final approval of the version to be published; AND
  • Agreement to be accountable for all aspects of the work in ensuring that questions related to the accuracy or integrity of any part of the work are appropriately investigated and resolved.
This is not meant to deny anyone who contributed authorship, it is made to allow anyone who SUBSTANTIALLY contributed to continue the process and have the ability and requirement to participate in steps 2-4 to be an author. If this is done, the authors are accountable for their work and can not take the "I did not know this was being published" approach should data be in error.
Medical Writers and Biostaticians as Authors
Medical writers can certainly be authors, so can biostaticians. They should have participated in all steps, however. If they did not, the Acknowledgements section must have their name listed should you wish to remain within ethical bounds.
Corresponding Author
The Corresponding Author is something every researcher dreams of. Seeing that little email icon next to your name in publication can be a goal for many, I am sure. However, there is some weight and responsibility. The corresponding author need not be the first author, nor the PI or department head. The do, however, need to be someone ALL authors trust to 1) disseminate information to them each time a revision or question or new draft is available, 2) will be available to quickly answer ALL correspondence and do it professionally (while doing #1, above).
Please let me know should you have any questions.

Niloy Sikder When writing up my Ph.D thesis my strategy was to always be doing something. If I got stuck on some point, I'd construct a drawing (it was all Rotring pens and pads in those days) or work on an item for the appendix. One can't afford simply to ponder something for days. So, my view is if you have a set of headings (the usual: background/intro/Literature search; Methods & materials/instrumentation; Results; Discussion; Conclusion; Appendix) or similar (let's not argue about these as it's not my main point), then always be writing these in parallel. Always try to be doing something that moves you forward. Expand your headings into sub-headings and a skeleton thesis emerges.

Hello everyone!!
I have submitted a manuscript to an Elsevier journal last July, almost 10 months now. In the journal website they mentioned it takes around 7 weeks until the first decision. However, 10 mother later we still did get any replay. We had sent several e-mail to the editor and no replay yet. And, we have asked help from the Elsevier support 2 times so far, they just forward the discussion to the editor.
At the end, I don't know what to do anymore.
Is there any suggestion??
Thank you in advance.
Relevant answer
Answer
I would suggest one more attempt to the journal editor, also writing to the journal mail box. In this email, I would explain that you have written on several occasions, providing the dates of every email sent. In addition, I would look up the email address of the most relevant member of the editorial board and write to him or her, explaining that you have received no response to your letters, giving the submission date, the dates of all correspondence and requesting that the board member investigate why the review is taking so long. (I would strongly advise against writing to all of the board members – they will be less inclined to respond if they are aware that you have written to everyone else!) I have had the experience of having a paper "lost" – it was sent for a plagiarism check and the journal staff either did not receive the result, or failed to react once the response had been received. As the manuscript was both lengthy and broad in scope, I waited some months before investigating, only to find that the review process had yet to begin.
A final thought – you might ask a colleague to send the emails in for you from a different address just in case your mails are being identified as spam.
Don't forget that, if/when you decide to abandon the journal, it is important to withdraw your paper prior to submission elsewhere.
I wish you the best of luck!

In my laboratory the first authors was always the one who did most of the work. The scientific value of the content is more important than the number of co-authors. In more complex subjects the long list of co-authors is very often due to a narrow collaboration with different laboratories having complementary skills. There is no magic formula for the number of authors, all depends on the complexity of the subject and the multiple collaborations with others laboratories.

But do you also use other databases for the indexation of scientific publications or scientific journals in a situation where you are looking for additional materials on scientific issues?

Thank you very much for all the information

Be advised that i am a newcomer to this subject matter. However have said that , i feel that i am able to add to Stephan Ternyik's comment:
"The underlying cybernetic idea will continue to be of vital economic importance, but we need 'modernized adaptations', in terms of scientific cognition/learning and not dogmatic partisanship."
It is my naivety that i think the nation's ability to optimally integrate it's educational and economical systems into one system will yield a "healthy nation. Theoretically this can easily be shown via the mathematical laws of physics. However, in the real world these models are difficult to be validated via organic measurements. I would propose that a nations GDP could be such an organic sensor. As such, the nations GDP may normalized and compared to the GDP of others -- see attachment.
Using the normalized GDP as a "measurement" of the nation's "health". The economic state of the economic system may be extracted. These "states(shrouded in uncertainty)" would be required to satisfy GDP characteristics as illustrated additional attachment 2. These would provide 1st level validation of the theory from scientific models (including uncertainty ) of GDP which satisfy mathematical physics.

There are many fake journals that you can pay and then they publish your research even it is not worth to be published. So there are many fake citations for some research works. Also there are published papers with a team of authors that they have a pact to put their name in each other's papers even they don't have any idea about the subject of the paper. It means they cite many irrelevant papers to a research. That's sometimes one cannot trust these citations criterias. Ofc there are high quality journals too. But in general could we say a research is high qualified based on its citations number? What's your suggestion to distinguish a good research from a bad research?

Normally we are writing abstract and conclusion generally. Specifically I expect what are the information we have to include in the abstract and conclusion in the research articles.
Relevant answer
Answer
The rhetorical structure underlying the abstract encompasses at least five moves some of which are obligatory and some are optional. In the abstract, move one is optional and is used to establish a general background for the topic. Move two introduces the research problem. Move three discusses the methodology required for solving the problem. Move four reports the research findings. Finally, move five, which is also optional, reports the possible implications. Naturally, the conclusion section involves an entirely different rhetorical structure with its own unique moves. The conclusion should report the following :
1) Resrare the research topic and explain why it is important,
2) Breifly summarize main points,
3) interpret the results,
4) Make a logical generalization,
5) Point out implications,
6)Point out limitations ,
7) Provide suggestions for further research
