I am wondering are there any papers that focus on multiple base stations serving multiple users in NOMA mode? I mean each BS serve multiple users in NOMA mode within its serving range, and multiple BSs do the same thing simultaneously; instead of fake ones that use round-robin etc.
Can anyone suggestion publications about this topic? Thank you!
Relevant answer
Answer
Yes, there is ongoing research on utilizing NOMA (Non-Orthogonal Multiple Access) in a scenario with multiple base stations serving multiple users simultaneously. Here's some information to get you started:
  • Multi-Cell NOMA Networks: This area explores how NOMA can be applied across multiple base stations (BS) covering a larger area. Research focuses on optimizing user pairing, radio resource allocation, and handling inter-cell interference between BSes. One example studies a cooperative MIMO-NOMA system with machine learning for user pairing.
A Downlink Multi-Cell NOMA Network with Q = 2 Base-Stations and N = 8 Users (you can find relevant papers by searching this title)
  • Challenges: While promising, there are challenges in implementing multi-cell NOMA. These include:Cell association: Deciding which user associates with which base station for optimal performance. User grouping: Grouping users within a BS for efficient NOMA transmission. Power allocation: Distributing power levels across users in each group to maximize system performance.
Overall, research on multi-cell NOMA is an active area. While there might not be a single definitive publication covering all aspects, searching for terms like "Multi-Cell NOMA," "Cooperative NOMA," or "NOMA User Grouping" should yield relevant papers.

How to get research papers with their cites, and what are the keywords you have to put to get context/articles/papers you need?
Relevant answer
Answer
ResearchGate's search function is rather elementary, it is not possible to do a sophisticated search. See https://help.researchgate.net/hc/en-us/articles/14292986311825-Discovering-and-requesting-research for some instructions. However, there are many other platforms like Google Scholar and others where you can search for research papers. Usually, the best platforms and bibliographic databases are those that relate to a specific field of research. Unfortunately, I don't know of any in your field (Artificial Intelligence, Artificial Neural Network, Programming Languages). Perhaps others may help.

Question

Hello everyone,
I hope this message finds you doing well.
I am writing to ask you a significant question about whole-virus ELISA and its procedure.
Honestly, it seems that coating a microplate with viruses is not as convenient as some papers mentioned, especially when high accuracy is needed. Now, my question is, is there any particular procedure in order to enhance the efficiency of the coating? For instance, what would we do if we tended to expose viral protein to the microplate better than before, based on your experience?
Thank you
Relevant answer
Answer
Coating a microplate with viruses for a whole-virus enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) requires precision and adherence to a standardized protocol to ensure reproducibility and accuracy. Here is a detailed, step-by-step guide on how to coat a microplate with viruses for this purpose:
  1. Virus Preparation:Propagation and Purification: Propagate the virus in a suitable host cell line until you achieve a high titer. Subsequently, purify the virus using techniques such as ultracentrifugation through a sucrose gradient or other appropriate methods to remove cell debris and enhance purity. Quantification: Determine the viral concentration using a method such as plaque assay or TCID50. It's crucial to have an accurate measurement of the virus titer to ensure consistent coating across wells.
  2. Microplate Selection:Choose a high-binding ELISA plate designed for protein interaction. These plates are generally treated to enhance protein (virus) binding and are critical for the stability of the coating.
  3. Virus Dilution:Dilute the virus in a coating buffer, typically carbonate-bicarbonate buffer (pH 9.4), which helps maintain the structural integrity of the virus and promotes optimal adsorption to the plate surface. The concentration of the virus in the dilution should be determined empirically, but typically ranges from 1x10^6 to 1x10^8 particles per mL depending on the virus and the assay sensitivity required.
  4. Coating the Plate:Add the virus dilution to the wells of the ELISA plate. Usually, 50-100 µL per well is sufficient. Ensure that the distribution is even across all wells to prevent variability in assay results. Cover the plate to prevent contamination and evaporation, and incubate overnight at 4°C. This temperature stabilizes the virus and promotes consistent binding.
  5. Blocking:After the incubation, wash the plate 3-4 times with PBS containing 0.05% Tween-20 to remove any unbound virus. This step is critical to reduce background noise in the assay. Block the remaining protein-binding sites on the wells with a suitable blocking buffer, typically 3-5% non-fat dry milk or BSA in PBS, for 1-2 hours at room temperature. This prevents nonspecific binding of antibodies in later steps.
  6. Washing:Wash the plate again as described after blocking to remove any excess blocking agent.
  7. Storage:If not used immediately, the coated plates can be dried and stored at 4°C, sealed to prevent contamination and dehydration. For longer storage, freezing at -20°C or -80°C may be necessary.
By following these detailed steps, you ensure that the virus is properly adhered to the microplate, maximizing the sensitivity and specificity of your whole-virus ELISA. Each step, from the preparation of the virus to the final storage of coated plates, is designed to maintain the functional integrity of the viral antigens and provide reliable, reproducible assay results.
Check out this protocol list; it might provide additional insights for resolving the issue.

A lot of scientific papers state that BPA can "leach" from polycarbonate plastics, but what does that actually mean?
Relevant answer
Answer
BPA It is not a plasticizer, however when traces are present as free monomer in polycarbonates or epoxy resins, it can migrate (leaches) to the surface by dissolution in solvents or mobility due to high temperature. For example the degree to which BPA leaches from polycarbonate bottles into liquid may depend more on the temperature of the liquid or bottle, than the age of the container.

Recently I visited <https://research.com/> (R) (a platform that lists top scientists around the world from the areas of computer science and electronics) and later I also visited <https://atlas.cern/> (A) (the ATLAS Experiment at CERN). I made the following observations (I intentionally don't mention names):
1. One of the top authors at R has published 1,816 papers.
If one's professional career lasts 40 years, the calculation says:
40 years X 365 days = 14600 days; 14600 / 1816 = 8 days to publish a paper
That means 1 paper is published every 8 days during the entire professional life! That's about 45 papers a year... every year!
2. The same author at R has an h-index of 167.
"The h-index is defined as the maximum value of h such that the given author/journal has published at least h papers that have each been cited at least h times."
The R's top author has 167 papers each one cited 167 times!
3. A paper published by A's researchers had 78 authors!
I realize that CERN is something "big" and quite complex. But... there are 78 authors anyway...
Probably all those people are high-level scientists. But... what makes them hyperprolific? Is it real? How is it possible? Is it more for the benefit of science or is it a kind of business?
What's your opinion?

I read some papers that study the global existence of a solution to a PDE. Sometimes, I found the notion of the "continuation principle".
What do we mean by the continuation principle? any recommended references and thank you in advance.
Relevant answer
Answer
Here's a step-by-step explanation of how the continuation method works:
  1. Initial Problem: Start with an initial problem or equation for which you want to find solutions. This could be a PDE or a system of PDEs.
  2. Solve in a Restricted Region: Instead of trying to solve the problem over the entire domain immediately, begin by solving it in a smaller, more manageable region where you know techniques to find solutions.
  3. Parameterization: Introduce a parameter (often denoted by λ) into the problem. This parameter can represent a physical quantity, a scaling factor, or any other meaningful quantity related to the problem.
  4. Continuation Equation: Modify the original problem by adding a term involving the parameter λ. This new equation, called the continuation equation, allows you to study the behavior of solutions as the parameter varies.
  5. Solve for a Range of Parameters: Solve the continuation equation for a range of values of λ. This typically involves solving a sequence of related problems, each corresponding to a specific value of λ.
  6. Continuation Principle: If you can show that solutions to the continuation equation exist and are continuous with respect to the parameter λ, you can use the continuation principle to extend these solutions to a larger range of parameters.
  7. Global Existence: By analyzing the behavior of solutions as λ varies and ensuring continuity and other desired properties, you can establish the global existence of solutions to the original problem over a larger domain.
  8. Parameter Variation: Finally, you can study how the solutions change as the parameter λ varies. This can provide valuable insights into the behavior and stability of the solutions under different conditions.
The continuation method is widely used in various fields of mathematics, physics, engineering, and other disciplines where complex systems are analyzed. It allows researchers to tackle challenging problems by breaking them down into more manageable parts and studying the solutions systematically as parameters vary.

BJH is considered as an effective method for calculating pore size diameter and volume. I have received BJH adsorption and desorption values separately as written below.
BJH desorption: 3.42111
BJH adsorption: 3.06625
So, I was wondering, if I have to report the pore diameter,
i)should I subtract adsorption value from desorption value?
ii) should I add the two and take average?
I have read so many papers but not getting any answers.
Thanks for help.
Relevant answer
Answer
Generally, the BJH equation can be applicable for adsorption as well for desorption branch of isotherm, but usually the results of treatment of desorption branch is taken. So you can take the value of diameter of 3.4 nm (not more digits!) as right. The most of companies producing equipments for physical adsorption of nitrogen introduce into software both types of pore size distribution calculation (from adsorption and desorption branches), but generally the results from desorption branche are taken.

Hello to everyone!
For the experts of the DNA fiber technique, I am having issues with my fibers. As you can see in the picture, the fibers are all together as a mass and they have not separated nicely. I have had beuatiful fibers in the past but now I am unable to reproduce them (I have not changed the technique or any single reagent whatsoever!). I am aware that the envrironment does play a role for the experiment so I have tried to conduct the experiment in a warm ish place. It looks like either a) there are too many fibers (they should be 8x105 as many protocols state) or b) the lysis buffer has not worked? I am using the technique from this paper. https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S0076687917301143
The cells that I am using is HeLa, a widely used cell line for this tecnhique. I also make sure that the fibers ''travel'' slow enough (5 mins) along the slide because some papers mention that when the fibers go down quickly, they dont get separated therefore they are not analysable (the problem I have!)
Any help would be much appreciated!

Answer
I have earlier faced issues of this sort. I still am facing it while performing S1 nuclease DNA fiber variant.
My advisor suggested dilution with unlabelled cells. I tried to dilute the labelled cells with unlabelled cells. It has given me good results with the normal fibre experiments (except S1 nuclease variant, where nuclei tend to clump). You will get better spreads and data if you follow this. Hope this helps.
I would also appreciate if anyone could let me know tricks with the S1 nuclease experiment.

Is there any specific relation between Re_b (bulk/ Mean Reynolds number) and Re_\tau (friction Reynolds Number). In few of the literature and experimental work I have gone through researchers give approximate values of these Reynolds numbers in their papers. I want to know, are these approximate values based in experimental correlations or any specific relations between these values?
One of the example of literature review by Schule & Flack i have added in the query as a snapshot for reference.
Relevant answer
Answer
Hi, to my knowledge one of the best correlations relating Re_b to Re_tau is the one proposed by Dean, Cf = 0.073 Re^−1/4
with C f= tau_w/(1/2 rho U_b^2) = 2 (u_tau/U_b)^2 = 2 (Re_tau/Re)^2
More recently, other relations for Cf have been proposed, for instance by Zanoun et al. (2003 and 2009)

Should we prohibit the false statements from the papers published in academia journals?
The words that “Einstein's famous equation E=mc2” is a sentence directly copied from internet. It is a general sentence about E=mc2. But, it is clear, this is a false statement. Now, it is well known that it is De Pretto who originally presented E=mc2 from the energy of atomic nuclei. His explanation about E=mc2 is the current explanation in today’s theory of relativity. And, Ohanian showed that in 7 papers, Einstein’s mathematics derivations about this equation are wrong.
And, these sentences are also false statement: 1) Einstein predicted the invariance of the speed of light or Einstein’s postulation of the invariance of the speed of light, 2) Einstein predicted the gravitational light bending or Einstein’s gravitational light bending.
(PDF) Anti-ethics and pseudoscience: On Albert Einstein's theory of relativity (V2) (researchgate.net)
these problems are introduced in detailed.
I was astonished at that, in the books or articles about the theory of relativity, this kinds of statement: Einstein predicted xxx, Einstein’s principle/postulation about xxx, Einstein obtained xxx, and so on, are all false statement. Could you find out one of such kinds of statement is true?
In the past 100 years, we obtained the maximum scientific innovations. These innovations are much more than the sum of that before 100 years. But, it is very unfortunate, the development of theoretical physics is stopped or slowed. Some people think that “Physics is dead”. Here we emphasize, the main reason for the death of physics is that the false statements are prevailing in the papers and books published in the famous academia journals.
We think, we are all the honest people. We don’t like or hate lie and false statement. Therefore, could we reject the false statement in scientific papers with the journals, magazines, books and so on that publish the false statements?
How can we do?

If you obtain an overall p value less than 0.05 for the total ANOVA, you then do pairwise comparisons between the variables to find out which have significant interactions. You don't need to do anything with slope values :)

Relevant answer
Answer
I think it is not a good idea to publish so many PhD thesis related research papers in one journal; it is better if the papers are published in different journals. If you decide to publish all papers in one journal, then you should select a high impact journal, and it is not easily possible. Top high impacts journals have very strict rules and high standards to select papers for publication. However, the importance of the research papers to fill the research gaps bring worth and appreciation.

Keep in mind that RG uploads automatically papers of numerous journals. I guess it highly depends on the data provided by the publishers behind these journals (whether it is properly updated etc.).
For example, I noticed:
Seed storage behavior of three tropical tree species from Congo (Africa)
is retracted (as well). Unfortunately, this is not visible here on RG (but is clearly indicated once you click on the DOI link).
By the way, it is of course clear that the response of Elsevier (as mentioned in the contribution in Science’s News & Analysis section) is nonsense. A few years ago, I brought a case of simultaneous submission to two journals one in an Elsevier journal title and one in a Springer title to their attention…only Springer responded adequately and retracted the paper).
Best regards.
PS. According to https://journalseeker.researchbib.com/view/issn/2141-5447 the publisher behind the journal “International Research Journal of Plant Science (ISSN: 2141-5447)” is published by “International Research Journals” (the Nigerian one). Rules of mixtures (ROM) might be the simplest composite mechanics models. However, in many books, papers, and online learning materials, it is incorrectly claimed that the simple rule of mixture E1V1+E2V2 provides upper bound for the Young's modulus (see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rule_of_mixtures, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Composite_material). This is only true if Poisson's effects are neglected. Otherwise, the correct upper bound will be larger than this formula. Another mistake is that it is commonly believed that this simple formula is derived from isostrain assumption, which is wrong too. It is actually derived from isostrain assumption in one direction and isostress (or zero Poission's ratio) assumption in other directions. Feel free to let me know your comments. I recently wrote a tutorial note for educational purpose to clarify these misconceptions along with other confusing points on rules of mixtures.

Hello everyone,
I am currently undertaking a research project that aims to assess the effectiveness of an intervention program. However, I am encountering difficulties in locating suitable resources for my study.
Specifically, I am in search of papers and tutorials on multivariate multigroup latent change modelling. My research involves evaluating the impact of the intervention program in the absence of a control group, while also investigating the influence of pre-test scores on subsequent changes. Additionally, I am keen to explore how the scores differ across various demographic groups, such as age, gender, and knowledge level (all measured as categorical variables).
Although I have come across several resources on univariate/bivariate latent change modelling with more than three time points, I have been unable to find papers that specifically address my requirements—namely, studies focusing on two time points, multiple latent variables (n >= 3), and multiple indicators for each latent variable (n >= 2).
I would greatly appreciate your assistance and guidance in recommending any relevant papers, tutorials, or alternative resources that pertain to my research objectives.
Best,

Rather than purchasing individual articles, a more efficient approach could be to implement a payment system based on citations. Under this model, researchers would have access to the entirety of global academic papers; however, a fee would be incurred for each paper cited in their work. This payment mechanism could be effectively facilitated through the use of smart contracts.
A portion of the citation fee would be allocated to the author of the cited paper, while the remaining portion would be distributed to the individual or journal responsible for reviewing the cited work. Such a system could be implemented utilizing blockchain technology, with platforms like Hedera offering the necessary infrastructure. Additionally, collaboration with platforms like ResearchGate could provide the means to accurately identify and track citations.
It is important to note that this citation-based payment system does not necessarily require the involvement of traditional journals. However, journals can still benefit from this system by receiving a portion of the citation fees for the papers they publish and review. The primary beneficiaries of this system are researchers who need to access and cite papers, authors of original papers who receive compensation for their work, and the individuals who conduct thorough reviews of these papers. This approach not only incentivizes the creation and dissemination of high-quality research but also ensures that the contributions of authors and reviewers are appropriately recognized and rewarded.
Relevant answer
Answer
Bindowo mohammed Garba, This is also a business opportunity. Whoever manages to create a DAPP for this task will likely be successful. I think a starting point would be to use blockchains with low data writing costs (like Hedera) for transactions, a decentralized network for storing files (like Filecoin), and a simple and easy-to-understand interface.
The researcher would upload their PDF to the DAPP anonymously, and the reviewer/journal would review the PDF (also anonymously). If approved, the final PDF is published on the decentralized data network, now with the authors and reviewers identified.
This idea also has the potential to create a review market. The better the reviewer, the higher the cost of their review.

Hello everyone,
Recently, I came to a link that has listed all the MDPI journals as predatory. I have a few papers with MDPI journals and it really concerned me. How valid is this information? Please provide your views on this.
Relevant answer
Answer
I think some MDPI journals are problematic. Others are pretty good, and have impact factors. But as of this writing (March 2024), they have suffered some scrutiny from Web of Science over issues like publishing too many articles and special issues (in certain journals) and having too much overlap among special issues, and some other problems. MDPI, as I understand, is working to manage these issues more carefully, though Web of Science (I have heard) has removed some otherwise pretty good journals of theirs from the Journal Citation Reports. I hope MDPI will fix these problems, but if you are going to submit to MDPI, be careful to check into your target journal carefully and see what others are saying and what they have been publishing recently.

Dear researchers, I am writing to request clarification regarding the minimum number of papers needed for a systematic review and meta-analysis. Could you please offer some guidance on this issue?
Relevant answer
Answer
The systematic review on a specific domain can be performed (protocol and search) even if there is no article in the end that are found (meaning that there is no available evidence on the topic under interest).
For meta-analysis, if research studies results can be pooled together for meta-analysis you can theoretically report meta-analysis in n>=2 studies. however, the more studies you get the more analyses you can do.
In many paper in my research area (veterinary science), meta-analysis are conducted when at least 5 papers are available. You can see this paper from Yemisi Takwoingi et al on that topic from a statistical standpoint.

Preferable a paper that describes issues of accounting for R&D costs in technology firms and how managers use non-GAAP to provide a clearer picture of the core business.
Relevant answer
Answer
f a paper that discusses the issues of accounting for R&D costs in technology firms and how managers use non-GAAP measures to provide a clearer picture of the core business:
Title: "Accounting for Research and Development Costs in Technology Firms: Challenges and Managerial Responses" Authors: John Smith, Jane Doe Journal: Journal of Accounting Research Year: 2020
Abstract: This paper explores the challenges associated with accounting for research and development (R&D) costs in technology firms and examines how managers use non-GAAP measures to provide a clearer picture of the core business. R&D activities play a crucial role in the innovation and growth strategies of technology firms, yet accounting for these costs poses unique challenges due to the uncertain nature of R&D outcomes and the long-term nature of R&D investments. We review the relevant accounting standards and discuss the limitations of existing accounting practices in capturing the value of R&D investments accurately. Drawing on empirical evidence and case studies, we analyze how technology firms navigate these challenges and employ non-GAAP measures such as adjusted earnings, non-GAAP operating income, and non-GAAP measures of profitability to supplement GAAP financial reporting and communicate the underlying performance of the core business to investors and stakeholders. We discuss the implications of using non-GAAP measures for financial reporting transparency, investor decision-making, and regulatory oversight. Our findings shed light on the complexities of accounting for R&D costs in technology firms and highlight the importance of transparent disclosure practices in enhancing the credibility and reliability of financial reporting in the technology sector.
Please note that the paper described above is a hypothetical example created for illustrative purposes. You may need to conduct a search in academic databases such as JSTOR, ScienceDirect, or Google Scholar to find actual papers that address the specific topic of accounting for R&D costs in technology firms and the use of non-GAAP measures by managers.
Additionally, you can explore journals such as The Accounting Review, Journal of Accounting and Economics, and Contemporary Accounting Research for relevant research articles.

Geopolitical Economy Stream
World Association for Political Economy (WAPE)
2-4 August 2020, Panteion University, Athens, Greece
Geopolitical Economy: globalization or imperialism? Development or war?
As conflicts and crises of every kind – from Ukraine and Gaza to the Korean Peninsula, from trade to technology – proliferate, few today doubt that the international order is undergoing seismic shifts and faces stark choices. In this context, inherited frameworks in the study of international relations – realism, liberalism, globalization, U.S. Hegemony – have neither anticipated nor explained these developments and the accelerating trend towards multipolarity or, as Hugo Chavez, referring to the diversity of economic forms in the more numerous poles of the world economy, called it, pluripolarity. The need for a new approach to understanding the international relations of our time is urgent.
Geopolitical economy is one such approach (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geopolitical_economy). Rooted in the classical Marxist tradition, critical of many of its current avatars, putting the understanding of capitalism and its contradictions and of imperialism and anti-imperialism at its core, giving states their rightful due, alongside classes, as key actors shaping the modern capitalist world, drawing on classical political economy and other traditions critical of neoclassical economics, geopolitical economy aims to investigate the international relations of the capitalist world in a historical materialist manner.
At the 17th World Association for Political Economy conference in Athens, in keeping with its overall theme of ‘Political Economy versus Economics in a Turbulent Multipolar World’, we launch the Geopolitical Economy stream of WAPE with this call for papers.
We invite papers on the broad theme of ‘Geopolitical Economy: globalization or imperialism? Development or war?'. We especially encourage papers that engage with – both positively and critically – the existing geopolitical economy literature and develop its many themes on a variety of topics, including, but not limited to, the following:

• The geopolitical economy of trade, investment, finance and technology
• War, Proxy Wars and Sanctions in our times
• The uses and misuses of international law
• The UN System, its history and contemporary problems
• New forms and organizations in international governance
• Shifting trade, investment, credit, migration and technology flows
Please send Abstracts to [email protected]

I'm writing a paper review / prospective paper about the use of XR tools in the space training domain - research gaps and future applications/investigations.
There are not so many papers about the topic, expect several conference papers. So I'd like to mention XR projects ongoing from companies and I'd like to do it systematically. Do you know if there's a way to do it systematically? Like a systematic Google review?
With PRIMA, we can make a systematic literature review. So I would like to search on Google terms such as 'virtual reality space training' and nominate in the papers, the companies / projects that came out from the Google search, to provide practical examples. So I hope that I would not miss any XR company which it is currently working on the topic.
Relevant answer
Answer
Since "systematic Google review" will not be replicable, it is not recommended. I would create a list of conferences related to your topic of interest (you may use Google to identify them) and then perform a systematic screening of titles and abstracts that fit your eligibility criteria. It is necessary to report all sources of data (conference names and years) and how many records were identified, screened, and included.

I have an unusual problem in deciding how to place this article I wrote with two colleagues. I am a psychological trauma expert, but also a statistician. During COVID, as my students turned to working online more often, I developed in interest in the methods psychologists use to identify data integrity and to decide how to remove problematic subjects. So we did a prevalence study using 1500 randomly selected publications utilizing MTurk and tracked how they made their decisions. Then we developed a category system of techniques, and wrote a critique of how well each technique worked and a how-to description of how use it most effectively. I’ve published a few papers in Psych Bull and planned it for that journal. I sent my first draft out to friends and got the most positive response I’ve ever gotten for an article, with virtually every one saying that they would use the information in their own work and asking to cite it. But here’s the problem. After finishing it, I sent it to a friend who has been an associate editor at times for Psych Bull, and, while joining the rave reviewers, he thought that it simply was not likely to be accepted in that journal given that it was not really a lit review of a content area. He suggested Psych Methods, but that journal has tight page limits, and is much more mathematical in its typical selection. I’m trying to write to be useful to the typical psychological researcher studying psychopathology, attitude, etc. online. Weirdly, although this is not my typical PTSD/dissociation paper, it may be one of the more important papers that I have written, but I’m worried that I just won’t be able to find a home for it. I’m even willing to consider journals that are pay to play, which I’ve never done before, if I can’t find a fit. Do you have any ideas?

For enzyme assays using cell supernatant which are slight yellow and using pnpp substrate which will also produce the yellow pnp substrate will predictably have a distortion on the absorbance. to what extent will this affect enzyme rate calculation and any papers on this?
Relevant answer
Answer
You can subtract a blank, as already stated, but it isn't really necessary as long as you are sure that the background absorbance due to (1) the supernatant without pNPP and (2) pNPP without the supernatant does not change over the time course of the full reaction. That is because you only need to know the rate of change of the absorbance caused by the enzyme-catalyzed reaction to measure the activity.

Dear researchers,
I am using Sentinel 3 SRAL level 2 Lan data for calculating water level for a tidal river in India. Can anyone share me some information about papers related to satellite altimetry focussed on tidal rivers?
Relevant answer
Answer
Acoustic Doppler Current Profilers (ADCPs)ADCPs can be deployed in the river to measure water velocity and depth simultaneously. By processing ADCP data, we can derive water level information, particularly during tidal cycles, aiding in understanding flow dynamics.
Hydrological Modeling Implementing hydrological models, calibrated with observed water level data, can simulate tidal behaviors and predict future water levels under different scenarios. This approach enhances our predictive capabilities and supports decision-making processes.

I am looking for exact copy number of pET28a plasmid. A citation would be great. Literature search only shows that it is low copy vector, but I haven't found any papers that mention the exact copy number or even an estimate.
Relevant answer
Answer
I believe that pET28 is based on the pBR322 backbone and that plasmid has a copy number of around 20 per cell. The precise number will vary by strain and growth conditions though.
