In terms of the writing process, I prefer to begin with the Results section because it is usually the most concrete, and the Methods section follows more or less automatically from that. Once I have those completed, I have a better idea of what the Introduction and Background sections should look like, which then leads me to the most appropriate Discussion and Conclusions.

I think it is not a good idea to publish so many PhD thesis related research papers in one journal; it is better if the papers are published in different journals. If you decide to publish all papers in one journal, then you should select a high impact journal, and it is not easily possible. Top high impacts journals have very strict rules and high standards to select papers for publication. However, the importance of the research papers to fill the research gaps bring worth and appreciation.

I recently referenced an open letter published on google drive, however, this is in the form of a pdf which is not as fleeting as a google doc - which can be overwritten many times over. My in-text citation make out the first signatory of the open letter as well as the date of publication. In the reference list I include the doc URL and the date of which I accessed the pdf. Just because items are correlated, does not mean that everyone will use the same pattern in responding. Rather than looking for patterns in responses, an alternative approach would be to form the scales you propose and then examine them for outliers.

Have you used to Confirmatory Factor Analysis to assess the relationships between your proposed scales?

A single PCR product can have multiple melting transitions that equate to peaks. The PCR product will appear singular on a gel but the product isn't fully denaturing at a single temperature. Often, one region denatures at a lower temperature (AT rich) while the other half (perhaps GC rich) of the amplicon denatures at a higher temperature. It is a more complex melting behavior due to differences in nucleotide content that are creating more stable and less stable regions of your amplicon that are different enough in Tm to create multiple peaks. Try the melt map version (https://www.dna-utah.org/umelt/quartz/map.php) and it will help you identify the regions and how different they actually are in terms of stability.

But unlike this help page suggests, most probably it was not the other author himself who wrongly claimed authorship, but ResearchGate's automatic algorithm wrongly identified him as the author and assigned your publication to his profile. You have to make them identical by editing, then the two entries will merge automatically. But there are a few conditions, e.g. that none of them should have a DOI. If this is not the case, delete the DOI and add it again after RG will have merged the entries.
