A documentary analysis was developed both as a case study of qualitative-interpretative type of statements of a group of physics teachers about issues related to experimentation. The developed analyzes allowed to characterize ways to assume the role of experimentation in science class, which formed the basis for designing a proposal for science teaching around experimentation, aimed at physics teacher training and contextualized with contributions from the Nature of science.
