Unsolicited Ideas Policy
At ResearchGate, we’re always pleased to hear from our users and welcome your comments and suggestions for improvements and changes to the site. However, ResearchGate’s company policy does not allow us to accept or consider any unsolicited ideas, suggestions, proposals, comments, or materials ("Idea Submissions"). The purpose of this policy is to avoid potential misunderstandings when ResearchGate’s products, services, or features might appear to be similar or identical to ideas submitted to ResearchGate.
If, despite this policy, you still choose to submit ideas to us, the following terms shall apply.
You agree that:
  1. ResearchGate will consider the Idea Submissions to be non-confidential and non-proprietary.
  2. ResearchGate shall have no obligations concerning the Idea Submissions, contractual or otherwise, including but not limited to, any obligation to return any materials or acknowledge receipt of any Idea Submissions and/or review the Idea Submissions.
  3. ResearchGate may use, redistribute, or disclose the Idea Submissions for any purpose and in any way, commercial or otherwise, without any compensation to you or any third party.
Feedback
While ResearchGate cannot accept unsolicited ideas, we are always pleased to receive feedback regarding existing features. Please only provide specific feedback on existing features, and do not include ideas that our policy will not permit us to accept or consider. You can provide your feedback by sending a message to Community Support.
Any feedback you provide is deemed to be non-confidential and non-proprietary. ResearchGate shall be free to use such information on an unrestricted basis, without any compensation to you or any third party.
